Your pet depends on you for his or her well-being. In addition to providing daily care, love and affection, your best friend depends on you in an emergency. Whether your pet becomes ill or injured, or needs help in a disaster, the American Red Cross can help.

CPR Challenge

Individual testing for those who wish to be recertified in any level CPR. Individuals may challenge one time only. No book is issued and a review is not provided. Participants take the written exam and perform the skills. The cost is $25 for the first module and $5 for each additional. Call for 790-5785 for an appointment.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer

As a professional rescuer, you are often the first person at the scene of an emergency, so it is critical that you have the skills necessary to save a life. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer from the American Red Cross gives you the confidence and skills you need to provide care for victims of cardiac and respiratory emergencies. The CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer course reflects the latest in lifesaving techniques and information and meets Emergency Cardiovascular Care 2005 Guidelines. The cost of the course is $50.00 (includes pocket mask).  In order to be certified, participants must attend both classes in the same week.  Pre-registration is required -- 790-5785.

Registration Questions and Answers


What if enough people don't register for a class? The American Red Cross reserves the right to cancel any scheduled class if minimum enrollment is not met. If you have registered for a class that is cancelled you will be offered the option of a refund or to be placed in the next scheduled class.

What if I register for a class and due to unforeseen circumstances I am not able to attend?  Call the Chapter and let us know the class you are registered for and the date you had planned to attend. Your registration can be transferred to the next regularly scheduled class or your registration will be held for up to three months.
