The Williamson County Chapter of the American Red Cross is committed to educating our community on how to prepare for emergency. We are available to provide speakers on the following topics:


American Red Cross Overview --  An overview of the many services provided by the Williamson County Red Cross as well as how you can get involved through volunteering.

Together We Prepare -- Learn five easy steps for preparing yourself and your family for an emergency. Depending on the audience, this program can be adapted to be age specific.

Community Disaster Education  -- Do you know how to make your family and home safer from fire? Flooding? Tornadoes? A Red Cross expert can provide disaster-specific information to prepare for, prevent and respond to your area of concern.

Disaster Response Planning for Your Business  --  Learn what can you do to reduce the impact of disasters on your business, your employees, and your customers. The Red Cross can help you develop a plan tailored to your organization.

Get to Know Us Before You Need Us  --  This presentation will familiarize members of the military and their families with Red Cross armed forces services including emergency communications and counseling.

International Services  --  If you’re interested in American Red Cross impact out side of the United States, this presentation will guide you through our international disaster- and health-related humanitarian aid projects like our Measles Initiative in Africa.

Homeland Security & Weapons of Mass Destruction  --  Learn what Homeland Security means for you, your family, and your workplace. Fight terrorism's greatest weapon--FEAR--with America's weapon--information and preparation.

AEDs (Automated External Defibrillator) in the Workplace  --  Learn what an AED is, how it works, who needs one, how much they cost and how to get one.

Health & Safety  -- This presentation discusses the variety of services available. Services range from community and work place programs, babysitters training, to CPR & First Aid courses.

Hot Topic  --  If you have a specific topic not listed above, we will be happy to customize a talk based on its relevance to the Red Cross and information available.
